Hey there! 👋

HubSpot integration with Mailmodo allows the user to:

  • Import HubSpot contacts into Mailmodo

  • Export Mailmodo form submissions to HubSpot account

  • Trigger emails in Mailmodo using HubSpot

To do the aforementioned functions, you need to first integrate HubSpot with Mailmodo. Follow steps mentioned in this guide for the same.

To trigger emails in Mailmodo through HubSpot, follow the following steps:

1. Create a transactional campaign in Mailmodo that will be triggered by an event in HubSpot.

Let's demonstrate this by setting up a Welcome Email campaign in Mailmodo that will be triggered whenever a new lead is registered in your HubSpot database.

  • To do this, go to the 'Templates' tab in Mailmodo and design a new Email or choose from the existing 'Saved Emails'.

  • Once your template is ready go to the 'Transactional' tab and click on 'New Transactional Campaign'

  • Choose the template that you've created

  • Enter the campaign details.

  • In the review section, ensure all the details are correctly shown. After reviewing, click on 'Enable Campaign' to create the transactional campaign.

  • Once the campaign is enabled, you will see the Trigger Endpoint and Webhook URLs to trigger the campaign from various platforms. Go to HubSpot->click on 'Generate' to obtain the HubSpot Webhook URL:

2. Setting up the Webhook obtained from Mailmodo in your HubSpot workflow

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.

  • Click the name of the workflow.

  • Click the + icon to add an action.

  • In the right panel, select Trigger a Webhook.

  • Enter method as 'POST'. In the 'Webhook URL' field enter the webhook URL that you obtained from Mailmodo.

  • After this Click 'Save'.

You can read more about using Webhooks with HubSpot workflows here.
